An AEW star has reacted to teases of a tag team break up at last night’s AEW Full Gear pay-per-view event in Newark.
Last night’s AEW Full Gear pay-per-view kicked off with the four-way match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship, with Private Party defending the titles against the Outrunners, Kings of the Black Throne and the Acclaimed.
While Private Party ended up scoring the victory on the show, the story of the match revolved around the Acclaimed, with Max Caster’s entrance rap claiming that everyone ‘loves the best wrestler alive’ instead of ‘the Acclaimed’, before tossing the microphone to Bowens in an aggressive manner.
During the match, tensions between the Acclaimed members came to a head, with Caster continually getting heel heat from the crowd, as well as he and Bowens having some communication issues.
A spot in the match saw Bowens and Caster have a staredown, with the crowd cheering for Bowens during the face off.
Taking to Twitter today, Bowens simply shared a photo of the face off between the Acclaimed members, seemingly continuing to tease a break up of the team.
