An AEW star brought back a popular gimmick from earlier in their career at tonight’s ROH Final Battle pay-per-view event.

ROH held it’s 2024 Final Battle pay-per-view event at the Hammerstein Ballroom tonight, which featured a number of matches, including a clash between former ROH World Champion Jay Lethal and QT Marshall.

Both men made their entrances for the bout, paying homage to the legendary ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage, with QT Marshall entering dressed as Savage during his days in the NWO in WCW.

Lethal however, brought back a popular gimmick from his past, coming out dressed as ‘Black Machismo’ Jay Lethal.

Black Machismo was Lethal’s Randy Savage inspired gimmick that he used during his time in TNA back in the late 2000s.

Lethal’s AEW partner Jeff Jarrett also made a surprise appearance in the match, his first ever appearance for ROH, hitting Aaron Solo with a guitar shot to the head.
