AEW Star Calls Jon Moxley His ‘Go-To Guy’

Jon Moxley has been the AEW World Champion for almost a year now and it seems he can be a pretty good locker room leader. One person in particular that he has taken under his wing has been Darby Allin.

Allin recently spoke with Kenny McIntosh of Inside The Ropes and said Moxley is his go-to guy. He mentioned that Moxley looks out for him and tells him to be careful. If you have ever seen Allin wrestle you know that is good advice. Here is the quote:

“Yeah, Moxley is, like, my go-to guy. I think it’s funny because both me and Mox, we’re like the most loners in the company so it’s cool that, he kind of tells me things like, ‘Yo, man, just be careful out there.’ He’s kind of like that role of looking out for me, like, longevity-wise. So picking his brain about everything is pretty nice.”

Jon Moxley and Darby Allin have also been aligned on camera as well as backstage. They have wrestled each other as well as worked together, most recently in Allin’s rivalry with Team Taz.
