AEW Star Calls Out ‘Internet Spin’ In Regards To Reported Locker Room Issues AEW

An AEW star has called out “internet spin” in regards to reported locker room issues.

Despite his status as a pillar of the promotion and three-time TNT Champion, Sammy Guevara has become a controversial name on the AEW roster over the past year due to reports of backstage incidents with Eddie Kingston and Andrade El Idolo.

Speaking with The Sportster, Guevara insisted that “it’s all positive” for him with the All Elite Wrestling locker room. He stated:

“I have no problems with anybody there, I say ‘what’s up’ to everybody. But, the internet likes to spin a story, I understand negativity brings in those clicks.”

“I think I am getting the people back. I think 2022 they really hated me, and then 2023 I think they’re kind of waking up to like, ‘okay maybe we were a little stupid, maybe he actually is the GOAT.'”

On the fans always giving him a reaction being the main reason why Tony Khan consistently features him, Sammy said:

“The people regardless of if they hate me or like me, they react to me, and I think the worst thing that can happen when you come out is no reaction. Let me tell ya, some of these guys, they may get no reaction.”

Sammy Guevara is set to be on the cast for the upcoming “AEW: All Access” reality sh0w that will premiere on Wednesday, March 29 at 10PM EST on TBS following Dynamite.

Guevara last competed on the March 1 edition of AEW Dynamite in the “Face of the Revolution” ladder match, which was won by Powerhouse Hobbs.

The Jericho Appreciation Society also appeared at AEW Revolution to assist Chris Jericho in his match against Ricky Starks, but he was cut off by Action Andretti before Jericho lost to Starks.
