An AEW star has revealed that Revolution 2022 was not just the best night of his career but his life as well.
Speaking to Rick Ucchino of Bleav In Pro Wrestling Podcast, Wardlow called AEW Revolution, “the best night of his life”.
When asked about his feelings about the pay-per-view, Wardlow answered:
“When I say that was the best night of my life, I truly mean it. I mean, the moment of grabbing that ring and putting it over my head at the end of that ladder match and hearing that crowd and then hearing them again in the moment of placing that ring… When I turned around and I was walking up the ramp and I heard behind me the entire arena chanting my name, best moment of my life. I’ve been dreaming of that moment since I was in elementary school. I knew it would be a big moment. I just didn’t comprehend that it would be received that well.”
Wardlow arguably received the biggest crowd reaction of the night at Revolution when he betrayed his long-time boss MJF by handing CM Punk the Dynamite Diamond Ring to hit MJF with.
He also earned a shot at the AEW TNT Championship with his victory in the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match over five other opponents.
Mr. Mayhem will now face Scorpio Sky this Wednesday on the St. Patrick’s Day Slam special of AEW Dynamite from San Antonio, Texas.
