AEW star and current ROH Women’s World Champion Athena has passed Samoa Joe’s milestone as longest reigning champion in ROH history.
At ROH Final Battle 2022, Athena defeated Mercedes Martinez to win the Ring of Honor Women’s World Championship.
Since then, “The Fallen Goddess” has gone on a historic reign with wins over the likes of Willow Nightingale, Hikaru Shida, Skye Blue, Queen Aminata and Billie Starkz.
The former WWE star has set the record for longest reigning ROH Women’s World Champion and the most title defenses of any champion in the company’s history.
On September 15, Athena hit a new milesone when she passed Samoa Joe’s ROH World Championship reigns with 646 days as champion for the longest reign in Ring of Honor history. Joe’s previous record was 645 days

The former Ember Moon is currently feuding with Abadon on ROH television.
