An AEW star has commented on their tease for a potential heel turn on last night’s episode of Dynamite in Omaha.
Last night’s show featured an AEW Revolution rematch between AEW World Champion Jon Moxley and Cope in a Street Fight.
The match took place in the middle of the show, with Moxley ultimately coming out on top to keep ahold of the title after choking out Cope following a number of interferences.
The match saw the Death Riders run in to aid Moxley, as well as FTR and Willow Nightingale running out to fight off the Death Riders.
After the match, Moxley and the Death Riders left through the crowd, though there was some tension among the babyfaces in the ring.
Dax Harwood showed his disappointment in Cope’s loss, walking out on both he and Cash Wheeler, with Cash standing alongside Cope as Dax left.
Taking to Twitter today, Dax reacted to his tease on Dynamite, simply saying:
I’m not mad.
I’m disappointed.
Moxley’s victory over Cope means he will defend the AEW World Championship against Swerve Strickland at AEW Dynasty on April 6.
