AEW Star Hailed As The ‘Definition Of A Leader’ By Current Champion AEW

AEW star and current TNT Champion Adam Copeland has been hailed as the “definition of a leader” by Mike Bennett.

On the April 3 edition of AEW Dynamite, Adam Copeland kicked off the show to send a message of positivity for wrestling fans to enjoy wrestling regardless of promotion.

This was viewed as a response to former two-time AEW World Champion and current WWE star CM Punk’s inflammatory comments towards his former company in an interview with Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour.

During a recent interview, Copeland revealed that he never watched the full Punk interview and explained the reasonings for his promo.

In response to the quote, ROH World Tag Team Champion Mike Bennett of The Undisputed Kingdom took to social media to hail Adam Copeland as the “definition of a leader.” He wrote:

They always say never meet your heroes. @RatedRCope is the exception to the rule. The very definition of a leader. @AEW is a better place with him in the locker room.

Adam Copeland last wrestled in a win over Penta El Zero Miedo to retain the TNT Championship on the April 10 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Copeland will team with Willow Nightingale to face House of Black’s Brody King and Julia Hart on the April 17 edition of Dynamite.

“The Rated R Superstar” will then team with Mark Briscoe and Eddie Kingston to face King, Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews of the House of Black at AEW Dynasty on April 21.
