AEW Star Fires Shots At NXT’s Adam Cole On Dark

During tonight’s episode of AEW Dark on the promotion’s YouTube channel, a popular star seemingly fired shots at former NXT Champion Adam Cole.

A couple of weeks ago on Dark, Britt Baker debuted a new talk show segment called the Waiting Room, and tonight’s guest was Dustin Rhodes.

As things were getting heated between Baker and Rhodes, the latter said: “Did your boyfriend win match of the year? No!”.

Rhodes was of course referring to Baker’s boyfriend Adam Cole, and the fact that his own match against brother Cody at Double or Nothing was voted match of the year in 2019.

A lot of people, including Baker herself, have pointed out that Rhodes’ point was slightly flawed considering Cole actually won PWI’s wrestler of the year in 2019.
