An AEW star’s first match in over two years has been announced for next week’s Summer Blockbuster special episode of Dynamite.
On last night’s AEW Fyter Fest special episode of Collision, Tay Melo made her return to AEW television, coming to the aid of Anna Jay as she was attacked by Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford.
Tay has not competed in an AEW match since January 2023, when her and Anna Jay teamed up, losing to Willow Nightingale and Ruby Soho on Rampage.
Tay has been out of action due to her and Sammy Guevara expecting their first child together, with their daughter Luna being born in November 2023.
Tay returned to the ring in STARDOM back on January 3, when her and Mina Shirakawa teamed up to face Athena and Thekla.
Following her return to AEW television, Tay’s return match has now been officially announced, with her and Anna Jay set to team against Penelope Ford and Anna Jay at next week’s AEW Summer Blockbuster special.
