AEW Star Set For First Ever Televised Singles Match AEW

Following his return to AEW on last week’s Dynamite from Winnipeg after ten months away from the company, Stu Grayson is set for his first ever singles match in the company.

Grayson is set to go one-on-one with Jon Moxley on the Wednesday 22 edition of Dynamite, and took to Twitter to announce the match and the significance of it, saying:

“Next Wednesday on AEW Dynamite, I have my very first singles Match on TV ever.

“I wasn’t allowed before because I tend to lose control when Uno isn’t around me, something about me being a liability to the company due to my anger issue and violence tendency. Now the leash is off.”

Grayson’s first run in AEW started near the very beginning of the company’s inception, with himself and Evil Uno debuting at Double or Nothing 2019, AEW’s first PPV.

Despite his first AEW run lasting three years Grayson was largely relegated to AEW’s YouTube show’s Dark and Dark Elevation.

This would be a source of frustration for Grayson, something he openly admitted during his hiatus from the company.
