An AEW star is seemingly set to form his own faction on his quest for championship gold following his win at Double or Nothing.
Ricochet made his debut for AEW back at All In London last year, and he has continued to mention his desire to capture championship gold in the promotion.
Ricochet has come up short in multiple title matches throughout his run in AEW so far, but he is seemingly set to get some help to aid him in fulfilling his goal.
At AEW Double or Nothing, Ricochet picked up the victory over Mark Briscoe in an Ambulance match, but on tonight’s Dynamite show, he put Briscoe behind him.
He said that he sees the lay of the land with all the champions in AEW, before noting that he would be looking to find himself a crew, some ‘loyal subjects’ that will help him on his quest.
Ricochet did not mention any members for his potential group.
Some fans have theorised due to the way Ricochet emphasised the word “crew” in his promo, he may have been referring to the tag team of Lio Rush and Action Andretti, as they are collectively known as CRU.
The chase for gold is on. @KingRicochet isn’t just rising—he’s strategizing.
