An AEW star is now under a full-time deal with the company.
‘The Reality’ Zack Clayton said back in November that he had signed a deal with AEW, but it was unclear exactly what kind of deal it was.
Clayton made several appearances on AEW Rampage, including an FTW Championship match against then-champion HOOK.
Clayton was recently added to AEW’s official roster page after not being listed for the first few months of his deal.
In an update from Fightful Select (subscription required), Clayton’s deal is actually a full-time, tier 1 deal with the company.
Clayton has most recently been wrestling as part of the Ring of Honor brand in a tag team with Cole Karter.
Before moving to ROH, he was a regular on AEW Dark dating as far back as 2020, with his number of bookings stepping up heavily in 2022.
Several other members of the AEW roster have been signed to full-time deals recently, including Diamante and Ring of Honor announcer Ian Riccaboni.
