There was a big update during tonight’s Dynamite on an AEW star who’s been teasing a heel turn in recent weeks.
A few weeks ago, MVP handed out a Hurt Syndicate business card to the Acclaimed, interested in bringin them into the group.
Anthony Bowens seemed very much against the idea, but Caster seemed open to it.
Since then, Caster has held onto the card and has had noticeable tensions with Bowens.
That included this past Saturday at the Full Gear pay-per-view during Caster’s rap, as he ended with “everybody loves the Best Wrestler Alive” instead of the usual “everybody loves The Acclaimed”.
Tonight on Dynamite, Caster continued his move to being a heel as he interrupted Swerve Strickland in a backstage interview.
Strickland was coming off the back of a loss to the Hurt Syndicate’s Bobby Lashley at Full Gear, and didn’t take kindly to Caster’s antics.
You can see how it played out below, but it seems clear that Caster – with Bowens nowhere to be seen – is all but confirmed to be a heel at this point.
Left defeated at #AEWFullGear, what does the future hold for the former #AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland?
