The main event of last night’s AEW: Dynamite was supposed to be a tag match, with Darby Allin teaming with new AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, taking on Sammy Guevara and former champion Chris Jericho.
Unfortunately for Allin, Moxley was taken out by members of the inner circle on the way to the ring, but because Allin is completely insane, he still wanted to go ahead with the match.
Towards the end of the match, Allin tried to hit Jericho with a suicide dive, but Jericho managed to turn it into a Judas Effect elbow to seal the win for his team.
It appears that the force of the elbow landed Allin in A&E (or ER), because he tweeted:”Still waiting to hear back when I can get in that ring. After getting my skull smashed.”
He then tweeted an image from a hospital waiting room, which you can see below.

Ouch. The more times you watch it, the worse it looks.
Unusually, we don’t know if this is a kayfabe trip to hospital, or a real one, but we’ll keep you updated with the situation.
