AEW star Ortiz has shared an injury update after 10 months away from the promotion with a torn pectoral muscle.
Former Proud N Powerful member Ortiz has been absent from AEW television for just under 10 months now.
The AEW star suffered a torn pectoral muscle, teaming with Eddie Kingston against Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli on the January 20 edition of AEW Collision.
On the latest episode of Isiah Kassidy’s vlog, Ortiz appeared in a small segment where he shared an update on his possible return. He said:
“I’m not quite back yet, but I’m right there. I’m stronger, faster, but less flexible.”
The vlog took place in Milwaukee, which was the host city for the September 4 edition of AEW Dynamite.
WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on Ortiz’s injury status when they become available.
