AEW Star Calls Interim Title ‘Bulls**t’ After New Champion Crowned At AEW Full Gear

AEW Star Calls Interim Title ‘Bulls**t’ After New Champion Crowned At AEW Full Gear AEW

An AEW star has taken to Twitter to call out the interim title status for the new AEW Women’s World Champion after a new champ was crowned at AEW Full Gear.

On tonight’s AEW pay-per-view, AEW Full Gear, a new Interim Women’s World Champion crowned when Jamie Hayter bested Toni Storm to become the new champ.

In the following moments, another AEW star popped by the bird app to share his thoughts on the matter.

With Shawn Spears writing:

“This “interim” stuff is bullshit.

“You’re either the Champion, or you’re not.”

With thousands of likes and plenty of retweets flowing in, perhaps some fans share the sentiment.

Toni Storm was named the Interim Women’s World Champion after champ Thunder Rosa declared that she was unable to compete at the last AEW pay-per-view, AEW All Out.

With Storm herself questioning the interim status of late, it is hard to imagine that Hayter will be more supportive.

We’ll have to stay tuned to find out if there will be any announcement of a change to the interim status.

Tony Khan is still planning on holding a post-event media scrum, despite the pure bedlam it created after All Out.

We also saw another title change when Samoa Joe won the TNT Title in a three-way against Powerhouse Hobbs and defending champion Wardlow.
