On Saturday night, former WWE star Dean Ambrose, now going by the name of Jon Moxley, appeared at AEW’s Double or Nothing show. It was later revealed that he had signed a full-time, multi-year deal with the new promotion, with them intending on using him weekly as one of their top guys.
However, before his debut match for AEW at Fyter Fest on June 29, Moxley will be debuting for another top non-WWE promotion in NJPW. In a video shared to his Twitter, the former WWE Champion revealed himself to be the mystery man targeting the IWGP United States Champion, Juice Robinson.

During an interview with the media after Double or Nothing where he revealed that Moxley approached him about joining AEW, the company’s owner Tony Khan said that Moxley, and other talent would be able to appear at international independent shows when their schedule was light. Moxley will likely be working for NJPW for a few months until AEW’s TV show begins airing in the fall of 2019.
