Has an AEW star who hasn’t seen in-ring action in over seven months just teased a return to the company on social media?
There was a big battle of big meaty men slapping meat on tonight’s Dynamite between Wardlow and Powerhouse Hobbs for the TNT Championship.
With both QT Marshall and the QTV cred at ringside for Hobbs and Arn Anderson there to support Wardlow, there were plenty of interruptions in the big title bout from various interferences.
However in the end, Wardlow was able to best Powerhouse Hobbs via pinfall after his Powerbomb Symphony finisher.
However the celebration was extremely short lived, no confetti or streamers appeared on behalf of Wardlow as he was instead interrupted by the entrance music of Christian Cage who eventually appeared with Luchasaurus.
However after AEW posted about the victory on social media, they had an intriguing reply from one AEW star we haven’t seen since All Out last year.
Oh and no, not talking about that other gent we haven’t seen since last year’s AEW All Out.
Miro responded to the post about Wardlow’s TNT Championship win with an intriguing emoji, the laughing crying face 😂.
Perhaps teasing a future challenger for the TNT Championship with a big pay-per-view coming up in Las Vegas?
AEW Double or Nothing is just around the corner after all!
Or maybe trolling, it is difficult to say so we’ll just have to stay tuned to find out if we’re really poised to see the return of Miro in AEW.
Elsewhere on tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite (April 19), there was a big title change, a new ally was revealed to be joining with The Elite and there was a big update about MJF’s challenger for the AEW World Championship at Double or Nothing.
