AEW Star Miro Teases Another Big Move

AEW star Miro, formerly Rusev in WWE, has teased that another big move could be on its way after signing a contract with AEW recently.

Speaking with Sports Illustrated, the Bulgarian said:

“I came to America for an opportunity, the kind I wasn’t given in my country. That’s all I want in AEW. That opportunity. I love professional wrestling, and it has so much left to offer me. As soon as I got that call [to be released by WWE], I immediately knew I wanted to go two places. The first one, I’m already here. The second, you’ll find out when the time is right.”

So the question now is where was Miro referring to? It has been reported that his deal with the promotion allows him to work for NJPW at Tony Khan’s discretion – which is the same as several other All Elite contracts – and many have speculated he could do some stuff with New Japan at some point. His deal does, however, prohibit any TV dates for other promotions.

Miro makes his in-ring debut for AEW on tonight’s Dynamite a couple of weeks after being introduced as the Best Man for Kip Sabian’s forthcoming wedding to Penelope Ford. We’ll have live coverage of the show tonight at WrestleTalk.com.
