AEW Star Luther Undergoes Name Change

An AEW star has undergone a name change following a recent repackaging.

On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the latest video of ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm aired, which featured her new butler, being portrayed by AEW star Luther.

Luther appeared at Toni’s side later in the show when she confronted AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida to challenge her for the championship.

Along with his new persona, Luther has undergone an official name change in the company.

Per AEW’s official roster page, ‘Luther’ is no more, with him now being known as ‘Lutha’.

Much like with Toni Storm, Lutha’s picture on the website is in black and white to go along with the pair’s gimmick.

Toni Storm is set to challenge for the AEW Women’s World Championship at Full Gear next month, with Hikaru Shida currently reigning as the champion following her defence over Abadon on last night’s Collision show.
