An update has emerged on an AEW star potentially undergoing a name change after returning from a lengthy absence.
Recent weeks have seen Jack Perry return to AEW to reunite the Jurassic Express tag team from a few years ago with Luchasaurus.
The reunion featured Luchasaurus going back to his old name after he’d been known as Killswitch for a couple of years.
This led to the question of whether Jack Perry would follow suit and go back to his Jungle Boy name from when their tag team was together previously.
It appears that won’t be the case, as the official AEW roster page has been updated to reflect something of a change.
Instead of going back to being Jungle Boy, he is now officially listed as ‘Jungle’ Jack Perry, so he’s kept his full name but there is at least a reference to him being known as Jungle Boy in the past.
‘Jungle’ Jack Perry and Luchasaurus will team up this weekend at the AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view in St Louis, Missouri in their first big match since reuniting, taking on the Young Bucks who were previously allies with Perry in The Elite.
