AEW Star Names Dream WWE Opponent WWE/AEW

An AEW star has named his dream WWE opponent.

Wardlow has risen the ranks and become a future main eventer for All Elite Wrestling since debuting.

The former TNT Champion has put together an impressive resume of matches after gaining notoriety on mainstream television.

Appearing on Rasslin’, Wardlow was asked about the greatest hosses of all time with the “War Daddy” answering former 11 time WWE world champion Brock Lesnar.

However, the AEW star did specify Brock was the greatest “until Wardlow laced his boots”.

In regards to Lesnar and considering him the ultimate dream opponent, he said:

“I’ll give you and the rest of the people a year or two to realize it, but I am.”

“Lesnar’s the real deal … he’s the ultimate [beast]. I think that’s the ultimate testament. I think in the game of professional wrestling it’s Lesnar and Wardlow.”

When discussing some of the greatest hosses, “The War Dog” mentioned Batista, Bobby Lashley, Big E and AEW’s own Brian Cage.

When thinking of other dream opponents, Wardlow said:

“My other dream match would just be with whoever the [AEW] World Champion is.”

Wardlow’s sights will definitely be on the AEW World Championship coming out of Full Gear 2022, where his former boss MJF won the title from Jon Moxley.

As previously reported, the former TNT Champion commented on the recent change in MJF on AEW TV.
