Speaking with 99.9: The Point, “All Ego” credited some of the wrestling legends who have made him into the performer he is today.
Page credited Sting, Arn Anderson and Jerry Lynn as the legends who have inspired him the most in his career.
Sting is currently in All Elite Wrestling in an alliance with Darby Allin, while Arn Anderson came to AEW and partnered with Cody Rhodes. He is now aligned with his son Brock Anderson.
Meanwhile, Jerry Lynn joined the company as a producer and coach.
Ethan Page continued on to also praise Jim Ross with his help in his time with AEW so far, saying:
“Just kind of comments in passing or advice that they’ve given or even just affirmation or reassurance that I’m on the right path or doing the right thing. They’ve all been very helpful and integral to my success in the company.”
Speaking about Jim Ross’ role on commentary for All Elite Wrestling, Page stated:
“For him to compliment me on ‘Dynamite’ as much as he does is like the greatest. Just because I know the talents that he brought to the table, and for him to think that I’m one of those potential talents is huge and it definitely motivates me in many aspects.”
