AEW Star Hits NBA Team’s Mascot With Suplex At Recent Game

An AEW star marked their visit to watch a recent NBA game in style by hitting a suplex on the home team’s mascot.

In a crossover moment few would have expected, former AEW Women’s Champion Saraya tangled with the Phoenix Suns mascot ‘The Suns Gorilla’ during their home game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

In footage that has been widely shared on social media afterwards, Saraya can be seen kicking Gorilla before delivering the classic manoeuvre in front of the fans at the Footprint Arena.

Thankfully for the Suns mascot, the move was not delivered on the hard court floor, with a crash pad in place to take the brunt of the impact.

Saraya and the rest of the AEW crew will return to Phoenix’s Footprint Arena, for tonight’s highly anticipated episode of Dynamite.

In a show headlined by two major matches, Sting & Darby Allin’s AEW Tag Team Championship challenge against Ricky Starks & Big Bill, while potential AEW World Title challengers Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland will face off one-on-one for the first time since Full Gear.

Elsewhere, as rumors persist regarding the potential arrival of Mercedes Mone, AEW president Tony Khan will make a huge announcement.
