Following the Power Struggle event, AEW star Ricochet has commented on making his NJPW return after seven years away.
At the NJPW Power Struggle show, Zack Sabre Jr. defeated Shingo Takagi to retain the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship in the main event.
Post match, Shota Umino came out to challenge Sabre Jr. for the IWGP World Heavyweight Title.
Just when it looked like ZSJ was about to close the show, AEW’s Ricochet made a surprise return to attack Sabre Jr. and challenge him for his title at Wrestle Dynasty on January 5, 2025.
After the show went off the air, Ricochet took to social media to comment on making his NJPW return after seven years away. He wrote:
Had to remind the world that I’m still the f**king man around here.
Ricochet is scheduled to team with a mystery partner against The Don Callis Family’s Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher this Wednesday on the November 6 edition of AEW Dynamite.
Had to remind the world that I'm still the fucking man around here. https://t.co/SE2UC2Q0r4
