It’s being reported that and All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star and former champion is no longer going to be working with another promotion.
As per Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline, Riho finished up with Japan-based all-women’s promotion Stardom yesterday.
The report notes that Stardom wants talent to be exclusive, and Riho is still under contract with AEW so that can’t happen.
Having said that, Riho hasn’t been on AEW TV since March as she’s been stuck in Japan due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
She was AEW’s first ever Women’s World Champion, reigning from October 2, 2019 to February 12, 2020.
