An injured AEW star has provided the latest update on their injury status.
Back at AEW WrestleDream, the Don Callis Family trio of Konosuke Takeshita, Sammy Guevara and Will Ospreay defeated Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi and Chris Jericho, when Guevara pinned Jericho.
In the match, Guevara suffered a concussion, with him being replaced in a scheduled tag team match against Jericho and Omega by Aussie Open’s Kyle Fletcher.
Sammy provided an update on his status today, taking to Twitter to announce that he still has not been cleared, but that he’s feeling better every day.
He said:
Good news, bad news. Bad news I’m not cleared yet. Good news everyday I’m feeling better.
Sorry Houston I really wanted to put on a show for y’all. Hopefully next time.
Also F**k Chris Jericho.
Guevara isn’t the only AEW star out of action with a concussion, as Jon Moxley’s match planned for last week’s Dynamite Title Tuesday was scrapped due to Moxley not being cleared.
Orange Cassidy ended up filling in for Moxley, regaining his AEW International Championship.
Good news, bad news.
