There has been a lot of speculation regarding the AEW future of Brian Pillman Jr, as he is still under contract with Major League Wrestling (MLW) and is yet to receive an official announcement from AEW regarding his signing.
However, fans of the Varsity Blonds can relax, as Fightful Select is reporting that Brian Pillman Jr will not be present at this week’s MLW tapings, and will effectively be a full-time AEW star moving forward.
Pillman’s contract with MLW runs through this weekend’s Battle Riot show, but there has been little contact between the two sides. Fightful notes that Pillman’s time in MLW will be coming to an end very soon.
MLW Battle Riot III airs live tomorrow, July 10.
