Mark Henry Comments On Triple H Taking Over WWE Creative AEW

Triple H taking over WWE creative back in July is still being talked about daily until this day, as his fingerprints continue to be left all over the WWE product in recent months.

From bringing back WWE stars that departed the company such as Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae, to focusing more on the Intercontinental, United States and Tag Team Championships, the changes he has made to Raw and SmackDown have been heavily praised.

Current AEW star and WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry spoke with Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson via Bovada, where he spoke about Triple H taking over the creative from Vince McMahon, and the effect it has had on the WWE product.

He said:

“You know what, it was bound to happen at some point. I didn’t think that it was going to happen the way that it happened but Triple H is more than adequate of running the company and being the boss. I never met anyone who was more passionate about pro wrestling than he was. His ultimate goal was to be who he is. I’m sure in his heart of heart he never dreamed about marrying the boss’s daughter and being a part of the family, but that’s what happened and he’s taken over. There’s a lot of things that the wrestling community looked at and thought, ‘Man, that failed. WWE didn’t capitalize on this,’ and he’s fixing all of those things and making the fanbase over there happy. So, he’s doing a good job,”

Henry arrived in AEW at Double or Nothing in 2021, where he was announced as an analyst for the then-upcoming AEW Rampage show that would air in August 2021.
