Another All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star recently underwent surgery due to an injury and is reportedly set to return in six-eight weeks.
Tony Khan explained recently that Anthony Bowens of the Acclaimed has been out with a knee injury, and PWInsider has provided an update.
The site is reporting that Bowens has now undergone surgery will be out of action for the aforementioned six-eight weeks.
Bowens tweeted:
What you’ve seen the last 4 months was me basically wrestling on 1 leg. I can’t wait to get back full throttle. Don’t worry though, there’s still plenty of Acclaimed content coming your way each week. I’m excited for everyone to get to know us/me a little better outside the ring.
In Bowens’ absence his tag team partner Max Caster has been used in the singles division and was one of the six men in the ladder match at Revolution won by Scorpio Sky.
Caster has a match on the first episode of AEW Dark: Elevation this coming Monday against Dante Martin, whose brother Darius has also been out injured recently.
Other recent surgeries in AEW include Serena Deeb and Anna Jay.
