Earlier this week it was revealed that former United States Champion Jinder Mahal had picked up an injury and had to go for surgery yet again. This was a gutting blow to Mahal, who had just returned from a knee injury in April, following ten months out.
WrestleTalk’s Louis Dangoor was able to exclusively reveal yesterday that Raw Executive Director Paul Heyman had big plans for Mahal on the red brand, and there were even plans to have him feud with former stablemate Drew McIntyre over the WWE Championship.
Well Jinder Mahal isn’t the only wrestler who has had to go under the knife in recent weeks, as AEW star and Dark Order member Preston Vance (Pres10) shared on Twitter that he too just had surgery three days ago. Vance promised to return and said that making Brodie Lee proud is what keeps him motivated.
I had surgery 3 days ago and worked out twice today. I got asked “what makes you so motivated?” That’s easy…. To make @ThisBrodieLee proud. #AEW #DarkOrder #JoinUs #X pic.twitter.com/Wbnjp5HRB7

Since joining the Dark Order, Preston has won 67% of his matches, only losing once. His loss was to be expected too, coming against former WWE Champion and current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley.
There is no word on how long Vance is expected to be out for or how severe his injury is. For the latest on this story, stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com.
