AEW Star Out With Knee Injury

AEW Star Out With Knee Injury

AEW President Tony Khan has given us a status update on an AEW star, confirming that he is out of action due to a knee injury.

“The Acclaimed” wrestler Anthony Bowens hasn’t wrestled since the beginning of February. It has just been revealed that Bowens is currently side-lined with an injury.

On the AEW Unrestricted podcast, Tony Khan discussed Bowen’s knee injury. It is unknown when he will return to action.

In November 2020, Khan revealed that Bowens and Max Caster had agreed to a multi-year deal. Previously singles wrestlers, Bowens and Caster form The Acclaimed, a formidable AEW tag team. Their last match together saw them lose to MJF and Chris Jericho on AEW Dynamite.

Caster has returned to the singles division for the time being. Defeating The Dark Order’s Ten on the March 3 episode of Dynamite, Caster qualified for the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match this Sunday.

AEW Revolution will feature an exploding barbed-wire death match, and a reported two new AEW debuts.
