AEW Star Partnering With Tony Hawk For New Project AEW

An AEW star has announced that they are partnering up with legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk for a new project.

AEW’s Darby Allin has collaborated with Hawk a number of times over the years, and now the pair have come together to help bring a new skate park to Henry County, Georgia.

Appearing at a 1FW show in Henry County, Darby announced that he and Tony Hawk were coming together to build the park.

He said:

“You heard it right. Heritage Park, Henry County is giving us a whole plot of land to build a skate park. I moved here in 2019 and the nearest skate park was 30 minutes away. I was like ‘this is crazy’, because I wouldn’t be here without skateboarding, I really mean that. So anything I can do to help out and inspire people, that’s why I climbed Mount Everest, was for Tony Hawk’s charity the Skatepark Project. Then we got the ball rolling, Henry County gave us that land in Heritage Park, and we’re ready to rock.

“It changes lives. Skateboarding changes lives, to have something for the people growing up in this area. Henry County is getting bigger, bigger and bigger, there needs to be more stuff for the kids to do, and a skate park is gonna help out a lot.”
