AEW Star Picks Bad Bunny As Dream WWE ‘Forbidden Door’ Opponent AEW/WWE

An AEW star has named Bad Bunny as his WWE opponent of choice if he could face off with anyone from the company.

While most WWE and AEW dream matches only become reality through talent departing one company to sign with the other, what if a “forbidden door” was opened, that allowed the WWE and AEW rosters to face off with each other?

In a clip posted by SiriusXM Sports on Instagram, former tow-time AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy was asked which opponent from WWE he would want to face off with, if a “forbidden door” was opened.

Very much in keeping with his on-screen character, Cassidy went against the grain by naming 2026 Grammy-winning artist Bad Bunny as his opponent of choice, rather than any of the full-time WWE talent on the roster.

Cassidy said:

“If there is a forbidden door between WWE and AEW, the person I would want to have a match with is probably… I’d like to get in there with Bad Bunny.

“Yeah, why not? Bad Bunny’s cool.”

While WWE fans have not seen Bad Bunny compete inside a ring since his widely praised San Juan Street Fight with Damian Priest at Backlash 2023, those tuning into AEW programming can see Orange Cassidy in action at the company’s Grand Slam Australia event on February 14.

In a match with extremely high stakes, Cassidy will team with Toni Storm against Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir in a Hair vs. Hair Match.

Speaking ahead of AEW Grand Slam Australia, Storm was open about how nervous she’s feeling ahead of the match in her homeland of Australia – click here for full details.
