All Elite Wrestling star Marko Stunt reportedly suffered an injury on this week’s taping of AEW Dark. Jurassic Express wrestled Strong Hearts and at some point Stunt hurt his foot.
Dave Meltzer reported the injury in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter:
“Stunt hurt his foot, but the next day we were told it didn’t look to be serious but it was bothering him and he may be getting it checked out this week.”
It doesn’t sound like Stunt’s injury is too serious. He and his partners Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus are scheduled to face Chris Jericho, Santana and Ortiz on AEW Dynamite next week so hopefully the injury doesn’t keep him from competing.
The next episode of Dynamite will take place on Jericho’s Rock ‘n’ Rager at Sea Part Deux. The match will likely focus on the feud that Jungle Boy and Chris Jericho had to close out 2019.
