AEW fans (myself included) often highly anticipate what gear their favorite wrestlers will wear for big shows. Guys like Kenny Omega often honor their favorite gaming or anime characters while guys like Cody or Hangman Page have gotten new gear recently.
Now Miro seems to be getting in on updating his gear. Miro announced on his YouTube Stream he will be sporting some new gear on the anniversary show on Wednesday.
The announcement of new gear seems a bit strange considering Miro sported new gear in his only match so far. Miro wore more of a boxing style trunk on his debut match.
Of course, people heavily criticized his debut match. He and Kip Sabian lacked chemistry and Miro hurt himself early in the match. The minor injury seemed to throw him off his game and nothing looked smooth.
Miro and Sabian will be back in action tomorrow night. The duo will face two yet to be named opponents. Who could that be? I honestly don’t have a clue who could debut for AEW. It would seem unlikely for them to want to beat Miro this early. So, it may just be a case of guys like Pillman Jr. and Griff Garrison getting the call.
The rest of the line-up includes:
- Lance Archer vs. Jon Moxley for the AEW Championship
- Orange Cassidy vs. Cody for the TNT Championship
- Big Swole vs. Hikaru Shida for the Women’s Championship
- The Best Friends vs. FTR for the AEW Tag Team Championship
As always, WrestleTalk will have live coverage of the show starting at 8 pm on October 14.
