Popular AEW Star Pulled From Match Due To Injury AEW

A popular AEW star who was set for a match at tonight’s DEFY Wrestling show has been pulled due to suffering an injury.

Eddie Kingston was set to take on Artemis Spencer at tonight’s DEFY Year6 event, but the match has now been cancelled due to an injury to Kingston.

DEFY tweeted:

DEFY has learned that due to injury EDDIE KINGSTON will no longer be able to compete at tonight’s YEAR6.

EDDIE is super bummed and we wish him a speedy recovery. We’ll have him back for a future event!

DON’T FEAR, Defyance- a stacked card remains, 6 YEARS LOUD!

Kingston made headlines recently after he posted a series of tweets about AEW, the roster and specifically the ‘four pillars’ of the company.

He last wrestled against QT Marshall on the Jay Briscoe Celebration of Life special.

We wish Eddie the best and a full and complete recovery from his injury.
