In a segment on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, it was announced that one star would be rebranding and should be referred to with a new name moving forward.

Coming to the ring to reveal a painting of their next target, Don Callis and Konosuke Takeshita also used the interview segment with Tony Schiavone to break some news.

Don Callis announced that since Konosuke Takeshita has beaten Kenny Omega twice now, he had surpassed being referred to simply as an ‘Ace’.

Instead, from henceforth we are to all refer to Konosuke Takeshita as ‘The Alpha Konosuke Takeshita’.

According to Don Callis, the Alpha doesn’t feel, he takes everything he can take and then takes some more, playing into the reveal of their next target.

Promising to “break Kenny Omega’s heart”, Callis revealed a portrait featuring Kota Ibushi.

Ending the segment emotionally, Callis stabbed the portrait with a screwdriver for maximum drama!
