AEW is set to hold the biggest event in the history of the company, with All In set to take over Wembley Stadium on August 27.
The show will feature many matches featuring top AEW stars, including a four-way for the AEW Women’s World Championship, with Hikaru Shida defending against Toni Storm, Saraya and either Britt Baker or The Bunny.
Ahead of the show, Toni Storm spoke to the Daily Star, where she discussed returning to the United Kingdom for the show, where she said that she is ‘bummed out’ that she has to return to the UK.
She said:
“I just wish Wembley Stadium could be at a different place because I lived in England for a really long time. It’s where I got established, so I made a name for myself and I have a British family. I’m just really bummed out that I have to go back.
“I thought I left my life behind there, but It’s what champion does, however I’m no longer associated, I’m American now.”
Carrying on, Toni made a vow that she would renounce her British Citizenship on the show at Wembley Stadium.
She added:
“The only reason I’d be excited about seeing all those fans again is I get to rub it in their faces how successful I am.
“The only thing motivating is my excitement to really show off just how great I have become and denounce my British citizenship at Wembley Stadium – I can’t think of a better place.”
The final qualifying match between Britt Baker and The Bunny will take place on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
