An AEW star is set to return from injury soon after a vignette for their return aired on last night’s Collision show.
Last year, mysterious vignettes aired for the arrival of a new AEW character named ‘Hologram’, which was the new gimmick name for former AAA star Aramis.
The gimmick was the brainchild of Tony Khan, with him wanting to initially introduce the character back in 2020.
Hologram was undefeated during his matches on AEW television, last competing at the AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view, where he defeated the Beast Mortos in a 2 out of 3 falls match.
Hologram was written off television shortly after the show due to suffering what was called a ‘serious’ ankle injury, but it seems Hologram is set to return to the ring soon.
On last night’s AEW Collision Homecoming show, a vignette aired for the return of Hologram, which you can see below.
