An AEW star’s return match after 9 months away has been announced for next week’s episode of AEW Collision.

Angelo Parker has not appeared on AEW television since the April 10 AEW Rampage taping, where he lost to Zak Knight during his rivalry with he and Saraya alongside his now wife Ruby Soho.

The storyline came to an end when Ruby announced her pregnancy with her and Angelo’s child, with their first daughter Evie being born on October 31.

On today’s episode of Collision, Matt Menard and Daniel Garcia fought off Shane Taylor Promotions with the help of the Undisputed Kingdom, before the Kingdom ended up eyeing up Garcia’s TNT Championship.

Backstage later in the night, Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong approached Menard and Garcia, challenging them to a trios match, though they didn’t have a third member.

Garcia then recalled joining up with 2point0 back in 2021, before he told Menard to ‘call the new dad’, with a trios match made official for next week’s Collision show in Jacksonville.
