After a big match in the AEW Women’s Division, a star exploded back on the scene, but where would her allegiances fall?
There was a hard hitting and entertaining match between Willow Nightingale and Saraya with her fellow Outcasts Ruby Soho and Toni Storm at ringside.
Saraya won the match after hitting her finishing move, the appropriately named Good Knight and picking up the pinfall.
After the bell, the Outcasts continued the beatdown on Willow Nightingale much to the chagrin of the fans in attendance.
But the assault was interrupted by the return of the former AEW Women’s World Champion, Hikaru Shida, kendo stick in hand.
However in a shocking turn of events, rather than come to the aid of Willow, Shida appeared to join up with the Outcasts, hugging them.
With the trio gifting her a can of green spray paint, Shida was primed to mark Willow Nightingale as she was being held back by the Outcasts.
However, sneaking up from behind was the AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker appeared.
Shida then took that opportunity to swerve the Outcasts and prove that she was still on the babyface side after all.
To think they used to be friends 🥲@realrubysoho @willowwrestles
