AEW Star Returns After Near Two-Year Absence

AEW Star Returns After Near Two-Year Absence AEW

A long absent former TNT Champion has returned to AEW action for the first time in almost two years.

Tonight’s special AEW Collision 100 episode in Ontario, CA saw Max Caster once again conduct his ‘Best Wrestler Alive Open Challenge’.

Without a win in the challenge thus far, Caster was tonight greeted by a name few fans would have expected to see – that being Scorpio Sky.

Competing in his first match in the company since an ROH taping in October 2023, and his first on AEW TV since September 2023, Sky was accompanied by former SCU partner Christopher Daniels, as well as Top Flight’s Leila Grey, Dante & Darius Martin.

Like many others, Sky made quick work of Max Caster, marking a winning return for the former AEW TNT and World Tag Team Champion.

Sky’s return comes just over a month after Tony Khan publicly addressed his absence at the AEW Double or Nothing media scrum, with the AEW President saying then that he was wanting to use Sky “when the time’s right”.

We will provide more updates on AEW’s plans for Scorpio Sky and his return to action if they become available.
