UPDATE – An update has emerged on how long Santana could be out due to his injury – read more at this link.
AEW’s Santana has been the topic of discussion ever since his appearance in the Blood and Guts match last month.
Santana suffered an injury in the match, which was why he was not present to celebrate with his team at the end of the show. Neither Santana or AEW have disclosed the injury or how long he will be out for. Chris Jericho recently said that Santana will miss around 8 months, but that has not been confirmed.
Furthermore, speculation arose about Santana’s status with both his Proud-n-Powerful tag team with Ortiz, as well as AEW as a whole, when Konnan seemed to confirm speculation that Santana and Ortiz were no longer on good terms with each other.
With numerous questions regarding Santana creeping up, the AEW star took to Twitter today to let us know that he will be speaking soon, though did not explain which topic he would be discussing.
Santana is one of many AEW stars who are currently out of actiom with injury. For a full list of all the AEW stars currently out of action, click here.
