AEW Star Says They Had No Idea About Major AEW Moment

Saraya (FKA Paige in WWE) is now officially All Elite, making her return to professional wrestling at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam.

Saraya has spoken about how she hid in a closet prior to her arrival on the show, so as to not spoil her debut in the company even for those backstage.

One person who has revealed she had no idea about Saraya’s arrival was Kiera Hogan.

Kiera spoke on Busted Open Radio about the moment, saying she screamed when Saraya walked out.

She said:

“I had no idea she was coming back.

“When I saw her return, I was in the locker room. We were watching in the locker room and I screamed because I’ve been such a fan of hers for years. … To see that she’s working at the same company as me, I was like, ‘What?’ I was just in such shock.

“But I was also very excited to see where she goes from here. I was excited to see her get back in the ring. I think she deserves it.”

Saraya wrestled her first match in almost five years at AEW Full Gear, when she defeated Britt Baker.

Kiera Hogan was removed from the Baddies group on the November 23 episode of AEW Dynamite, replaced by the returning Red Velvet.
