A top AEW star has revealed a legitimate shoulder injury ahead of their upcoming match at this weekend’s Full Gear pay-per-view.
Former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland made his return to the company at WrestleDream, where he was confronted by MVP and Shelton Benjamin of the Hurt Syndicate.
Bobby Lashley made his debut for AEW at the end of the Fright Night Dynamite episode of Dynamite, where he laid out Swerve, setting up his debut match against the former AEW World Champion at Full Gear this weekend.
However, ahead of the show, Swerve took to Twitter, where he shared an x-ray showing a shoulder injury, saying:
“These Hurt Syndicate beatings take a toll”
Swerve has not provided any additional information on the injury, and what it means in regards to his upcoming match with Lashley at Full Gear.
