AEW star Britt Baker – the girlfriend of NXT Champion Adam Cole – was shown on camera and mentioned on commentary during TakeOver: WarGames last night.
The camera showed the shot in the above image after Tommaso Ciampa had landed an Air Raid Crash on Cole from the top of the WarGames cage through a table to win the match for his team.
Mauro Ranallo mentioned “Adam Cole’s girlfriend Britt Baker” looking on during the match recap.
Triple H addressed this during his post-TakeOver interview on Facebook Live.
He said the director was just looking for the most shocked woman in the arena, and it just happened to be Baker, it wasn’t like they looked for her specifically.
HHH also added that he did feel sorry for Baker because he didn’t want her to get in trouble with AEW because of it, and also noted that she’s doing a great job with her work.
