A former AEW World Tag Team Champion has reportedly been sidelined with an injury, resulting in their three month absence.
While ‘Switchblade’ Jay White has been getting involved with the Death Riders and the AEW World Championship heading into Worlds End, the other members of the Bang Bang Gang have not been by his side in recent weeks.
Juice Robinson was originally slated to compete in the Continental Classic, before he suffered an injury during his tournament bout with Will Ospreay, leading to him being pulled from the tournament and replaced by Komander.
As well as Robinson, Austin and Colten Gunn have also not appeared on AEW television in three months, and the reason for their absence has now been revealed.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), numerous sources at WrestleCade and on the AEW roster have confirmed that Austin Gunn had been sidelined with an injury which led to he and Colten not appearing on AEW television.
It is not known if there is anything on Colten’s end that has led to his absence, but those within the company are of the belief that he was cleared as of this past week.
We wish Austin Gunn all the best amid his ongoing absence.
