A wrestling legend in AEW is about to have their contract expire; find out out which major AEW star could be leaving the company in 2023.
In a profile with D Magazine titled ‘The Last Days of Sting‘, the wrestling legend shares that his contract with AEW will expire sometime in 2023.
While Sting declines to state when, he has made it clear that when that time comes, he will be done with wrestling.
Also noted in the article, Sting has been enjoying working alongside his daughter-in-law Katelyn who is on AEW’s social media team as well as training to become a wrestler herself.
While Sting hasn’t wrestled since AEW’s pay-per-view Full Gear in November, he continues to appear on AEW television.
Including recently after Darby Allin reclaimed his TNT Championship in front of Allin’s hometown crowd in Seattle as well as reportedly set for an appearance on this week’s AEW Rampage as well.
